As much as that phrase is used, it actually does mean something to the youth of the nation. There has been a recent attitude within our goverment that I personally do not like. It seems as if our representives we've elected to their officers seem to be on an ego trip and go overboard with goverment intervention. The goverment has taken over certain businesses and is attempting to take over our healthcare system as well...and they won't stop there by the looks of it. Our goverment lied about the stimulus package and seems to be more about passing agenda without much explaination and bashing anyone who is against their decision. I'm a young american who is not liking the way this country is heading and attempting to do something about it. The future generation on america needs to be enlighten about what's really going on in the world, not what some biased media outlets are pushing out towards the public. For any young person reading this, I've started a group known as "Young Conservatism". The goal is to get the word out to the younger generation.
